Refund and Returns Policy
At Skyward Scholars, we take great pride in offering premium educational flashcards thoughtfully designed to enhance the learning experience of children. Every product we create is carefully inspected, crafted with high standards, and intended to provide long-lasting educational value. Because of this, our refund and return policy is intentionally thorough.
Eligibility for Returns
Our return policy is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery. After 30 days have elapsed, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund, exchange, or store credit under any circumstance.
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in the same pristine condition in which you received it.
- The item must be returned in its original, sealed packaging, without any writing, damage, tampering, or signs of wear.
- The item must be shipped with proof of purchase, such as the original receipt or confirmation email.
- Return approval must be granted by our customer service team before the item is shipped back to us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
Returns that do not meet every single one of the above criteria will be automatically denied and, if sent, may be discarded without notice or return shipping.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note that several items are strictly non-returnable, including but not limited to:
- Opened or used flashcard sets
- Products damaged after delivery
- Items purchased through third-party platforms (such as Amazon) — these must follow the seller’s respective return policy
Once an item has been opened or used in any way — even lightly — it is ineligible for return or refund, regardless of the reason.
Partial Refunds (Extremely Limited)
In rare cases, and entirely at our discretion, we may grant a partial refund (not to exceed 50% of the original purchase price) under the following narrow conditions:
- The item is returned with visible signs of handling or damage, not caused by shipping.
- The return is initiated but received beyond the 30-day limit (no later than 40 days, and only with documented shipping delays).
- The item is missing original components, such as packaging inserts, protective sleeves, or card dividers.
Partial refunds may take longer to process and are not guaranteed, even if the item was returned. All partial refund decisions are final.
Refunds (If Approved)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email whether your refund has been approved or denied.
A restocking and inspection fee of up to 15% may be deducted from your refund for handling.
If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–14 business days.
If denied, no refund will be issued, and the returned item(s) will not be sent back to you.
Shipping charges, both original and return, are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after 14 business days from approval:
If all else fails, email us by using the contact form with your order number and refund approval date.
Double-check your bank account for the original transaction.
Contact your credit card company — some financial institutions may delay posting.
Reach out to your bank to verify if any refund is pending.
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for products that arrive damaged or defective, and the request must be made within 5 days of delivery. Photographic evidence of the defect must be submitted here before an exchange can be considered.
- If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the defective item.
- The exchanged item will only be shipped after we receive and inspect the original.
No exchanges will be granted for minor cosmetic issues that do not affect function (e.g., box corner scuffs, misaligned labels, or packaging blemishes).
Return Shipping
You are 100% responsible for paying your own return shipping fees.
Original shipping costs (even if discounted or waived) will be deducted from any eligible refund.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Items returned without tracking that are not received will not be refunded.
Once approved to return an item, we will provide you with the specific return address via email.
Final Thoughts
We kindly urge our customers to read product descriptions carefully, view all product images, and ask any questions before purchasing. Our flashcards are educational tools, and we stand by their quality. However, due to the nature of educational materials, handling policies must remain strict to ensure fairness and hygiene for all customers.
Please note: Excessive return requests may result in account restrictions, suspension from future promotional offers, or refusal of service.
